Pike Place Market in Seattle (under 20 miles> is a must see in Seattle from the Beecher's cheese store to Flying Fish!
Fremont is just north of Seattle and is very trendy - They consider themselves to the "The Center of the Universe."
Ballard also just north of Seattle has more of a Scandanavian feel, but interesting shopping including galeries, boutique shops and restaurants.
Kirkland is on the Eastside less than 8 miles from the inn and has a village atmosphere on Lake Washington with many boutique shops and restaurants.
Downtown Seattle around Pioneer Square has lots of furniture store and arts galleries.
Snohomish - about 23 miles - has lots of antique shops within a couple of blocks. The best selection and pricing in the area.
Duvall - about 8 miles - as several antique shops in a small area, but it is mostly collectibles and clothing.
North Bend Premium Outlet Mall is about 20 miles away to the east. They have many outlet stores, but not very high end.
Seattle Premium Outlet Mall near the Tulalip Reservation in Marysville - about 40 miles away. They have a fine selection of high end stores. If you get bored, you can always go support the local indigenous population at their donation acceptance center - Tulalip Casino.
Redmond Town Center - 3 miles. Has smaller stores and several boutiques. Great Restaurants.
Bellevue Square -11 miles. Belle Square is a full service mall anchored by Nordstrom's, Macy's and JC Penney's.
The Bravern 11 miles. The Bravern is one of the newest malls in the area, it is also the most upscale with Nieman Marcus, Hermes, Jimmy Choo's, Louis Vuitton among others.
Pacific Place in downtown Seattle - about 20 miles away. Pacific Place is near the flagship Nordstrom's and a large stand alone Macy's. It has a lot of specialty shops and some of the most reasonably priced parking in Seattle. There is also a multiplex cinema there.
Westlake Center in downtown Seattle - about 20 miles away. Westlake is also the downtown terminus of the Seattle Monorail. It features specialty shops and a food court.
University Village in Seattle - about 16 miles away. An open air "mall" with lots of specialty shops but no major department type stores.
Alderwood Mall - 25 miles. A full service sub-urban mall. Nordstrom's Macy's, Sears, JC Penney's as well as a large selection of other specialty stores, restaurants, food court and a broad selection of "big box" stores.
Northgate Mall - about 25 miles. Another full service sub-urban mall with department store anchors.
